Regrets: Professor Manning Marable

The editors of TFW note with great sadness the passing of Manning Marable, director of the Institute for Research in African American Studies at Columbia University, prolific author, political activist, father, husband, colleague, and friend.  His latest work, Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention, published by Viking, is available today.  Marable was 60 years old.
