Effects of Generic Cialis on Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms

Traditionally, the main indication with which the intake of such a drug from the category of PDE-5 inhibitors as Cialis is identified is erectile dysfunction, that is, weakened potency. However, the range of positive effects of Tadalafil, the main component of Cialis, is much wider than it seems at first glance. This applies equally to generic versions of Cialis.

A scientific research conducted by Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois (USA) has proven the effectiveness of Tadalafil in reducing lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to benign prostatic hyperplasia. These symptoms include unpleasant conditions such as urinary frequency, urgency to urinate, nocturia (frequent nighttime urination), dysuria (painful urination), stress or urgency urinary incontinence, difficulty urinating (sluggish urine stream, urinary retention, incomplete emptying of the bladder, paradoxical ischuria – urinary incontinence with overfilling of the bladder). One or more of these symptoms develop in at least 80% of cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia. They cause serious anxiety to patients, reducing their quality of life.

In a single-blind, placebo run-in study, nearly three hundred male volunteers with BPH and LUTS were treated with Tadalafil starting at 5 mg and gradually increasing to 20 mg over 18 weeks. According to the survey, a significant improvement in lower urinary tract symptoms was demonstrated in 62% of study participants who had lower urinary tract symptoms and benign prostatic hyperplasia, while being sexually active and suffering from erectile dysfunction. Tadalafil also had a tangible positive effect on the potency of the study participants.

During the study, participants took Tadalafil once a day at the same time. The first six weeks they received 5 mg of Tadalafil daily, the next twelve weeks, 20 mg of Tadalafil daily. This gradual increase in dosage allows the body to adapt to the new drug and avoid severe side effects.

Based on this study, it is possible to recommend men with BPH and lower urinary tract symptoms to take Cialis on a daily basis. Before that, it is advisable to consult a doctor to make sure there are no contraindications.

When They See Us—reminds us Since branded Cialis is characterized by high cost, if desired, patients can opt for generics of this drug. They all contain the same Tadalafil. Buying cheap generic Cialis is an excellent choice for men who don’t want to neglect treatment, but cannot afford an expensive drug. With the daily dosage regimen, Tadalafil is well tolerated, even better than with episodic administration. Less side effects are observed, and they are less severe. Tadalafil provides a significant improvement in the symptoms of the lower urinary tract, has a positive effect on the dynamics of BPH and helps fight erectile dysfunction, in most cases accompanying prostate adenoma.
