Turkey Earthquake: Death toll passes 430

The past Sunday, an earthquake of a 7.2 magnitude hit the Turkish city of Van, located in the southeast region of the country. News sources report upward of 400 fatalities from the disaster and another 1,352 people injured. Miraculously, a two-week old baby girl, Azra Karaduman, and her mother Semiha, were pulled to safety from the rubble of a demolished building by rescue workers in Van.
