We regret the passing of Geraldine Ferraro, who died on Saturday, 24 March, at the age of 75. In 1984, Congresswoman Ferraro made history when, the chosen running mate of Democratic nominee, Walter Mondale, for the U.S. Presidency, she became the first woman to run for Vice President.
